Some time ago on eightchan's /tech/ board someone made an "angry fork" of a mod I work on of xonotic (which itself is a fork of nexuiz, which itself is a fork of halflife, which itself is a fork of quake).
(The mod is called chaosesque anthology, and is on sourceforge)
They said they were making this fork and would put ponies in it everywhere and replace everything with ponies, and would then claim it was the "real" project and get my original project taken down (like they did vs it on moddb), or something like that.
They apparently didn't know that Xonotic allready had a pony player model, but said player model wasn't released GPL and was not distributed with said game because of hasbaro copyrights and trademarks.
Anyway: the person cloned 1/6th of the project, in an unworking state, added a Code of Conduct, on github; never added any ponies;
This was in 2013.
Said person constantly posts that github as if it's mine, for the past... however many years.
I wouldn't mind a ponychan additional module for "my" game. Just as I wouldn't mind a cirno loli cute anime girl module (module meaning .pk3 archive (which is a zip) we could distribute).
Aslong as everything is opensource.
And has 3 levels of detail for each model as is they tradition. (0, 1, 2)
I don't think the eightchan guy or the "geekfeminists" who made the previous claim of ponyifying Chao
