I'm sorry to hear, what happened?

⛵ No.23608

>>23594 We had to take my stepdad down to Dallas to get him a new lifting recliner, because he can't physically pull himself up out of his old recliner any more. But it turned out he had a UTI and so we had to stop constantly along the way. It turned into an 11 hour disaster of a trip. And what was worse, we picked out a chair for him yesterday at the furniture store, but they didn't actually have it in stock. So we had to drive back down there again today to pick it up! And at the same time I've suddenly developed moderate edema for the first time in my life. Not a good time.

That sounds like a proper horror trip where everything went wrong... I really hope things will get better now, and that the edma heals quickly.

>>23611 Oh yeah, and we stopped for dinner on the way back last night, and it was a fiasco with a brand new waitress, a so bad it was funny situation. Thankfully, we got the chair today, but I'll still need to put it together tomorrow. And oddly enough, since the Lakers lost tonight, I'm driving home later tomorrow. I'll have a short break before I come back here again.
How's your day going?

At least you got the chair now. Why are the Lakers causing delays?

I'm alright, work was good enough I guess. Tomorrow is a holiday, too.

>>23613 No, she didn't understand what "bacon" meant, she gave my mom something that looked like it had literal dogshit on it (chocolate with the worst presentation I've ever seen), gave me vanilla-flavored coffee-water, and gave my mom coffee-water and a fruit "refresher" drink with no fruit or soda in it.
If the Lakers had won, then the Lakers-OKC games would have started some time between the 2nd and 4th. But since Houston won, the series is likely to go to 7, which means the [whoever wins]-OKC games won't start until around next weekend. For the last game, we had to get an extra ticket and took a family friend with us to see the game. And he wants to return the favor and get us tickets to one of the home games in the next series. Which means I'll be driving back up here for another playoff game! (if we can get tickets)
You're done with work already? What's the holiday?

We'll find out very soon. hoping for the Thursday game. but if we can't get any, then I won't be leaving. On the other hand, since it's likely they'll advance to both the conference final as well as the LITERAL FINALS, the longer we wait the more exciting the potential experience becomes.
I'm heading off soon to spend sine quality time with the folks here. I hope you have a great rest of your day!

Just experience and knowing how long I've been playing.
