Sonic 2 is arguably better than Sonic 3 since Sonic 2 has multiple (often three) pathing level design. Sonic 3 started showing a worrying trend in video games where you wouldn't want to bother putting something in a video game that the player wouldn't see. While it seems to make sense this kills off exploration and it's a very bad idea since it removes player freedom.

There was a thread where two or even three Randolfs could be seen chit-chatting with each other. The thread was of course not created by them. They only inhabit dead threads or threads with very low traffic. They soon scattered however as the thread drew attention and the other Randolfs have not been seen since. This makes people believe that they have a nest somewhere on an abandoned chan. Finding such a nest would of course be a zoological goldmine.
